I don't even find stories like this shocking. People can be so ugly when it comes to race. Why anyone feels the need to bring up or bash someones race is beyond me. This is about as angering to me and constantly being referred to as "that black lady" on a daily basis when someone doesn't know me name. Fucking annoying.

i don't like being referred to as "white girl" either.  it's a two way street.  and btw, it's not necessarily a race thing. you can't take what one ignorant douchebag says and apply it to everyone. out of curiosity, if someone doesn't know you, how do you expect them to refer to you?

Meh. It's not particularly exciting to me either. It's the norm for someone to try to come at a person with whatever they think will piss them off.
As for "that black lady", I guess I don't see the problem unless you find 'black' to be an insult. Like, "that fat lady".
I don't think being called a black lady, or a white lady, is offensive.

Big deal. It happens at every single game in the country, every single day. People take balls from other people. And, it says he ALLEGEDLY was saying things, not that he DEFINETLY was. Good grief! THIS is what keeps racism going. People seeing something, and making up the rest as they go!

Whoever says racism is dead clearly doesn't live in the South.

Sounds like a rude, drunken baseball fan being a total jackass.  Probably jealous someone had a better seat.  He got escorted out.

I'm wondering how embarassed the woman he was with felt, because she got escorted out too. Damn I wish she was on cafemom, lol.

I don't find "that black lady" to be offensive either. I mean if you ARE black......

But in the case of this asshole at the game, he deserves an ass kicking. Why he wrenched the ball out of that womans hand is beyond me. Douche!

Wow I didn't know I was racist. I refer to people as that. "The black lady" "the white lady" "the gay guy" "the fat lady" "the old lady"

I'm not defined by my skin complexion. There are other ways of referring to me.
