Bullies *UPDATE*

A kid at my ds school has been picking on him. He has punched him. Choked him. I went to the principal, she said she was going to sit the two boys down. And have them talk. However my ds hasnt done anything wrong. Is this normal anti bully intervention? Should i change his class? I dont know if i should or to handle it. What would you do? The kid has left marks each time it happens. Lets me know they are allowing him to hit my kid.

NOW AFTER I COMPLAIN THE TEACHER ALL OF SUDDEN WANTS TO SAY MY DS PROVOKES KIDS. AND THAT MY DS HAS A HARD TIME FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS. IT OBVIOUS A RELITATION THING. WHAT WOULD U DO?

That's a typical first step.

Did you notify the Teacher this was happening??

Usually the Guidance Counselor or Teacher will get the boys together and try to find out whats going on. BUT if it continues after this "talk" with the Principal then I would move on up the chain of command to the Superintendent and/or Chancellor of the DOE.

They have an anti bully specialist at the school. But shouldnt it be just the kid that doing the bullying go. My ds has expressed, he doesnt want to be friends. I want to request to speak to the kid parents. Or should i try this? Seems like a slap on the wrist. He has assualted him on more than 1 occasion.

THIS....and take him to the ER (medical report) and to the  police precinct (complaint and Restraining Order). Take a copy to the Chancellor and/or superintendent and the bully brat will have to be transferred to another school

They are only 6. However the kid is the tallest and biggest in the class. He looks 8. I dont know if he is big for his age. Or has been left back.

Document and photograph every mark that kid leaves on your son. It will come in handy if you have to go to the superintendent.

Obviously the kid is old enough to know what he doing if hes choking and beating on your kid. That kid Knows better and it should be handled. I dont care how old that brat is.
