That's right. No tree no presents no stocking. we will not be celebrating it with any of the kids this year so we feel we dnt need to set everything up. I normally go all out if we have the kiddos. DD will be with her dad and DS's will be with their mom. We will get them a present each but nothing big and next year we will go all out :)

Why not decorate and do Christmas early or late?

Christmas isn't a date on the calendar. Its whenever you make it.:-)

sounds like a plan!  My dd will be visiting her grandparents in Texas, my spouse will be gone, so it'll be just my son and i.  we're going simple, too.

We get to every other year... Grandparents still go all out and we just take our present there... Santa only comes on Christmas Eve where they are at m. :)

Understandable. Dd spent last Christmas at her dad's. We didn't do anything for Christmas. Plus I started miscarrying Christmas morning so dh and I watched movies and found a Chinese restaurant that was open and had dinner.

;( Aww. If they are small, I would do a small tree with small decor. You can make it special without spending a fortune. Good luck and I know that is hard to decide.

Honestly Christmas isn't just about presents anyways and Santa only visits Christmas Eve where ever you are :)
