and I'm pretty sure the woman who had the transplant is succesfully pregnant now.

So you can take teratogenic anti-rejection drugs during your pregnancy? Brilliant.

I understand wanting to be able to carry a baby, but this seems remarkably selfish.

Can I transplant mine to some lady (ftc) and take hers that is incapable of getting preg?? Now that sounds cool! We could kind of help each other out!!

Yes! They transplant a uterus to someone who doesn't have one or someone who doesn't have a functioning uterus
