Is it really that uncommon to be married and your husband to be the biological father of all of your children?

I ask because my DH and I took our girls out to eat and I am almost 7 months pregnant with our third and last. We went to a small 50's inspired diner and I guess the waitress was also one of the owners and she was shocked to find that not only have dh and I been married 10 years, but that all three children are biologically both of ours. She said she hardly ever sees, 'real' families like ours anymore. The majority of families are 'blended' familes. Then she gave us our entire meal and dessert for free lol, saying she wanted to treat a young couple doing things the right way.

Now I'd just like to note, while it does make me feel good to be so young and married so long, and my husband be the biological father of all my children...it doesn't make me feel superior to others not in our position. I don't think our family is better than other families in any way shape or form.

I'm going to vote other. While SO and I won't be married for another 3wks, we have been together 8yrs and are the biological patents to or the daughters. I get asked a lot if they all have the same father.

I'm such an idiot lol, I knew I was forgetting something. I forgot to put SO up there! I'll add it now, sorry about that.

We are married high school sweethearts. Been married 17 years. Were each others first and one and only. I only have kids by him that we waited to start having until after 5 years of marriage.

Apparently we are a rare couple nowadays.
