We're looking at engagement rings and I'm actually thinking of getting a sapphire or tanzanite ring instead of a normal diamond. I just don't want to get caut up on the price I want it to be about us getting married!! :0)

does anyone else have a sapphire or tanzanite ring? Do you have a white one or is it colored?

whats the big difference between diamond/sapphire/tanzanite???

Beautiful. What made you chose sapphire over diamond?

I have a tanzanite ring...it's so dark blue it's almost black.

very lovely and eventually someday they'll be incredibly rare.

Sapphires are more traditional. Diamonds as engagement rings are relatively new - starting in the mid-1800's or so.
