Edit- the point is, these dogs are ALWAYS in the shelters/pounds. People think they can afford them but they can't, they think they can train them, but they are either too lazy or don't have the money. Vet bills, vaccinations, neutering, Flea and Heartworm medicine, FOOD and TREATS, ETC, IT ALL ADDS UP. i am just tired of seeing these moms getting these breeds for protection and as a family dog and they end up f!cking themselves because they can't handle these breeds.

Any dog can become vicious if they have shitty owners or are taunted. The best dogs I have seen are in this list.

This. Labs are universally a family dog, but its not advised for families because it has jealous tendencies.

To each their own. Just because the dog is a traditionally aggressive breed has no bearing on how it will behave. A dog is just like a child. Teach it right and remain vigilant and it will do right in all situations. Teach it wrong or allow it to its own devices and you've set yourself AND the dog up for failure. Do not fear the animal.... Fear the LAZY, INEXPERIENCED OR IRRESPONSIBLE owner because it is by their hands that "bad dogs" are made. :/
