I was looking up the specs of my old house to comapre space and i am a dork when it comes to numbers. I wrote 6800sq ft when in actuality that is the property footage not the house the old house is a little under 1800 sq footage.

Trying to get ideas for smaller living spaces. I am not good at decorating, that gene was not passed on to me lol

Here is my tiny space (the carpets are getting cleaned the 2cnd week of November)

Go to Ikea, or just have a look at one of their catalogues online. You'll get tons of space-saver/decorating ideas, esp on a budget. You're lucky as you've got lots of closet space. I have lots of books and papers, so shelves are great for that.

You need bigger pictures in the living room. The smaller pictures look weird.

Bigger pictures, shelves, greenery or seasonal flowers, curtains, candles, etc.

We moved the EC so those little pictures are decals that were over it. They are being moved back over the EC and I am putting a large picture in the center there.

I need to check Ikea, we do not have one local, but assume I can look online.

Agree with the pp about Ikea.. I have a small house, so I have a lot of shelves up, your home is a bit smaller then mine, but you do have one more bedroom then I do.

Do you have shelves or any decorative plants or flowers?

Check out pinterest for grouping and decorative ideas.

Do you own? If you took that weird little hall way wall (in front of bathroom in the first pic) it would really open up your kitchen

We just sold our house that had this exact layout. I tried finding the pictures online but it is no longer listed.
