Do you ever send the kids to bed early for a date night?

Yup! DD's bedtime is 8pm, but sometimes I convince her to go up to bed at 7:30 so we can have time to read together. We usually read for about 15 minutes, which make it so she is in bed, in her room with the door closed by 7:45...15 minutes ahead of schedule. That gives DH and I more alone time.

I don't need a date night to put the kids to bed early. I did it two nights ago for no good reason at all. I don't consider it selfish, I consider it sanity maintenance.
