If it does for how long? My sis just got herd and we don't want to get it. We vax but not for the flu.

No, the flu vaccine is not a live virus. It does not "shed" and it can not make you or those around you sick.

The flu mist however can.

The nasal mist does bc it's a live virus. The shots do not.

Amazingly enough, I've always gotten it and my children as infants haven't caught it from me or older siblings, and my husband who never gets the shot has never caught it from us either.
Nor have I ever known any other family with a young baby (who they are trying to protect) who caught the flu from their shot.

But I'm sure the anti vaxers will be along soon to tell you how dire it is.
