once we cut his nap. which he fought just as hard anyway. he went to bed by 7 very easy.
but if you give him a nap even as small as 20-30 mins he will freakout for hrs at bedtime.
I'm kicking myself now for giving him a nap. but I'm in my thrid triemester and I really needed one. and SO was already asleep for the day (since he works graveyards) ugh ffs its going to be a long night.

Lucky! If mine doesn't have one he is super cranky and whiny and just an all around terror to be around without his nap.

Yep, my son did and still does the same thing at 4 years old. He cut out his own naps before he was 2 and if he got any type of nap during the day he would be ready to party till after 2 in the morning. What helped calm him down was at night I would turn on his favorite movie, turn off all the lights and we would cuddle on the couch till he fell asleep. It was OK if I fell asleep cause if he moved I would wake right up since he was up against me.

I hope you get some sleep tonight and soon :)

My ds loves his nap and will actually grab his blanket and drag me to his room when he is ready to sleep.
