Infidelity and Gender Bias

Why is it that if a woman KNOWINGLY cheats with a married man, everyone comes to her defense? It doesn't matter if she's legally married(Katherine McPhee), has a boyfriend(Kristen Stewart), or single(Angelina Jolie), dating a married man is wrong. BOTH parties are absolutely wrong in this case. Infidelity is wrong no matter what the situation and I think both parties should get the blame, it takes two to tango after all.

I'm a woman and I've never been involved with a married man. I understand that in some cases, women get involve with a married man but don't know he's married. That's not her fault. But for those who know the man is married and STILL actively cheat, that's wrong.

What do you think?

I don't see that. I think anyone who cheats is scum.

I've never really see people defend these types of women... Most will bash her more than the man who actually cheated.
