or why hasn't it been revised?

America has the highes childhood obesity and diabetes rate, yet we still have Halloween, where we pump kids full of candy.

Does this make sense?

 yes.

Halloween is fun and I'm not saying we should do away with it, but why aren't we giving out healthy food?

One day a year is not the reason kids are obese. Stop trying to legislate being a grinch

Well taking away Halloween won't change that. One day a year won't change peoples lifestyles. Thus not reducing their chances of type 2 diabetes.

Takes more than candy to cause type 2.

no it won't, but don't you find it sad when you see a child struggling with obesity and/or diabetes?

Halloween is a choice for parents. You dont have to take your kid out and get candy..
