Cut in half length-wise and lightly coat with oil and Italian seasonings. Bake until golden on top, remove. Add all your favorite sandwich toppings to the bottom, or meatballs and marinara. Delicious and filling sub sandwiches!
If you can't use it ALL right away, cut one into cubes, toss in olive oil and your favorite dried seasonings. Place in single layer on a baking sheet and broil on low until turning golden. Give a good stir, arrange into single layer again, and broil for another 30 seconds to a minute until other side is golden. Homemade croutons!
