I want my kids and I to make similar crafts add these as it presents this year for family members abd a few close friends...

you basically take coffee mate coffee creamer bottles abd decorate them like snow men or penguin or teddy bears Santa ect....

and you can fill them with whatever you want, our paint them and have them empty or whatever
examples- to make a snowman, either paint container white our full it with cotton balls..

penguin, paint black or fill with black whatever you want lol

but I'm going to fill mine with useful stuff,

like snowmen with sugar, rice, flour, ect
the penguins I'm thinking coffee beans/ ground coffee

and other miscellaneous things that go with whatever I can make.

I'm thinking two bottles per family? maybe more, and I'm going to put them in cute baskets with tissue paper and make them look pretty...

would this be cute or tacky as a present?

mind you, my kids are the youngest in the family so no one really gets toys or gifts... just cards or simple things

I like the idea of filling them with coffee. They are cute gift for the kids to make. Something I would keep for the month toss when I took the tree down.

Are you planning to fill them as part of the gift? Like how people give cookie mixes in a jar?

Idk about the plastic bottle aspect of it. I make mason jars every Halloween decorated like pumpkins, vampires, scarecrows and bring them to the kids parties, As a guess the amount of candy game. Something about the plastic makes it feel cheap. But if no one gifts, then your gift can't really be too cheap.
