There's like 9 billion Olivers these days in my area

Ok. I've never heard of a female James, but that's a pretty good reason. James Wren has a nice ring.

Quoting Anonymous:

I knew a girl named James and she was a very influential person in my life.

Quoting Anonymous:

Where did I read about the resurgence of old names today? Anyway, many of the names you've listed. What's up with the two random bird names? Why James for a girl?

I see, same with me and my husband, just opposite. I'm German and he is Scottish.

Quoting Anonymous:

I'm Scottish and DH is German

Quoting NidanLady:

Do you have a Scottish background? Anyway, out of the choices I'd go with Clyde or Angus for a boy and Ryan or Arwen for a girl.

Angus is cute. Wren is okay for a girl.

The rest aren't to my liking.
