The fixed bills are between 2900 and 3000 a month. Not including groceries or gas.

My husband is making 2000/week take home on a regular week and 2600/week take home with overtime, which he's been getting a lot :(

too many bills to list right now, i've barely had enough coffee to function lol

but our monthly income is anywhere from $7,000-$8,500 (sometimes a little more) depending on dh's monthly bonus. and then he gets quarterly bonuses that range from $3,000-$8,000

Take home pay if just about $15K a month.  Plus annual bonuses and stock awards.

Although we are paying tuition for 2 kids (35K and 40K a year), our "bills" aren't all that high for our income.  Mortgage is $1200 a month, car insurance/homeowners is $500 a month (4 cars), phone/internet/cable is $200 a month, gas/electric during the winter about $300 a month (much less in the summer, no a/c and don't need it), no car payments, no credit card bills except what we use on travel each month, water/sewage is $100 a month, garbage is $80 every 3 months, cell phones about 300 a month.  So about $2700 a month in bills.

The rest?  We save a lot, we pay tuition as I said earlier.  We travel.  We do home renovations when we feel like it.  We have a gardener (200 a month) and a housekeeping service (250 a month). We help out my husbands elderly aunt who lost all her money in a scam.  We help out his brother, who's years of drug abuse and mental illness (untreated because he refuses) have taken a toll.  We contribute to charity.

We worked YEARS to achieve this, it didn't happen overnight.
