How pathetic! The attitude is : its offensive to expect people to provide for their own, supplemental programs are designed not to help but to keep people dependant and those who do work don't deserve what they earn....others should get it.

People are pissing on what others worked so hard to build in this country. And in the end when PA really goes away all that is left are those who grew up believing they need the government to survive and they can't have any pride or reliance on themselves. They will be completely lost. Yep PA won't last forever. Its all a matter of time. We have this thing called debt...and it rises every day.

Well, I'm socialist so you probably don't want to hear from me.  The US is fucked up, just not for the reasons most people say.

Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free;
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless,
Tempest-tossed to me
I lift my lamp beside the golden door

This system is broken. Its not help. Teaching people to help themselves is the way Jesus taught.

This country was known as the land of opportunity, not the land of hand outs.

Jesus taught us not to judge
He taught us to help the less fortunate
He taught us to be giving

Yeah, PA isn't the problem in the US. It's people without compassion and who only look out for themselves that are dragging this country down.
