So I went to the store yesterday to get some food for the house and a birthday gift with my mom. So we ring everything up and I swipe my food stamp card which only had about 19 left on it. The cashier tells me that there isn't enough to cover the food which confused me because the total of the food was about 12. I thought I added it up wrong then. When we got in the car I looked at the receipt and realized that they have the darn food mixes for it listed as food in the system. Really it is a damn toy and should not be considered cfood! If I had known that I would have rang everything separate instead of all together now I am out my food stamps. I know it only took 7 more off my card but damn I could have gotten eggs and milk with that before I get reloaded. Anyone else notice this?
And for some peoples information my mom brought the oven and mixes as a gift. We just rang it all up together to get through the line quicker.
I will not respond to any more of the readers that do not read the entire op or have a lack of reading comprehension. I did not have the money to buy the oven or the mixes that was my moms money and her gift to someone else. The oven and mixes was a gift going to someone else! No I am on medical leave right now and not getting paid so no I don't have the 7 in cash to pay for anything. Sorry my bf and daughters father died earlier this year putting me into this position to not have the cash on hand.
