Ok so we are looking to move to Montana in about two years time. We have two children the oldest will be almost seven and the youngest will be almost five by the time we make our move. Our main issue is finding a city that would be family friendly for us. We have two girls both are active kiddos one is a dancer one is more into sports. That may change though.

What cities in MT are family friendly?

What is the cost of living like in MT compared to the national average

How cold is the winter/summer there and do you get a bunch of snow?

Would you say the housing/job market is average or better than other places?

If it helps we are in the South right now.

I'm in the north western part of the state, Butte and Bozeman tend to get a lot of snow and cold weather. the Eastern side gets wind. If you go close to the ND boarder the COL goes up as it's by the oil fields. I think Billings smells cause of the refineries.

ah. we are looking into Great Falls and the surrounding areas. I am trying to research as much as I can but I figured I would try here as well.

Can you tell me more about it? Is it a good place for a family? How about cost of living and finding a home and a job? What is your favorite thing about Whitefish
