A girl I know is selling a lot of her things. She had been listing pics and prices. I see over the last week or so she has sold a lot. I contacted her bout a washer and dryer. My brother needs one. We made an agreement on the price my bro called her they had it all arranged. This was like 4 days ago. Last night I messaged her Askin how much some decor she has costed. I couldn't find the pics anymore. This morning I had a message she said she changed her mind apparently her and her man were fighting she started selling all their belongings and now she says they back together. I said oh ok have you told my brother. He really needed that and was lookin forward to it. They made a deal and no response. I haven't said Anything to my brother yet. I'm sure she has not either. Just wondering what y'all what think about this. I think it was pretty shitty of her.

1 mom liked this

It was. Private transactions suck.

Any time I agree to purchase something from CL I don't get my hopes up until item and money is exchanged and the deal is done.

Removing her listing should have tipped you off.

Well,it's her stuff and some times people do stupid things when they're mad. It's inconvenient sure, but it happens. Keep checking Craigslist for a W/D combo.

Yah, it's shitty but move on. If she doesn't want to sell her shit any longer, what can you do? *shrug*

Crappy to do, but it's her stuff to sell or not.

It was crappy and pretty childish of her..........but she's not obligated to sell any of the items if nothing was signed with the buyers.

happens all the time

sometimes the seller backs out

sometimes the buyer backs out

risk of doing business with people

That's definitely shitty of her :( There's not much that can be done, though.
