The "pull out method" not being a reliable form of BC....We've been doing it for 3 years since my youngest was born and I have not gotten pregnant, we have sex at least 3 times a week....before that we did it for 2 years after my first was born and ONE time he finished in me and i got pregnant....

Then you are lucky, the majority of people who use it end up being parents. It is NOT birth control, it's dumb luck.

If your man KNOWS when to pull out, its not dumb luck.

Okay and that is how I got pregnant with my oldest.  2nd I never used one ounce of protection between 2 and 3 and it took 7yrs.  So now what do you think?

Its worked for me for a year now, but I still don't feel safe enough now that we've decided that we're not having anymore children. I hate birth control though so I'm waiting on an appointment to get my tubes tied!

Yes it is. Precum can contain sperm, not as much as a full ejaculation obviously, and if he's urinated before sex it most likely won't, but there is always that chance, so yes, it is dumb luck and irresponsible to use that as your only form of 'birth control' if you don't want or can't afford more kids.

We would love another child..so i don't really "rely" on it...but it has worked for us.
