Marriage is a lifelong Journey * A Christian post * Piog

Marriage is a lifelong journey where we are constantly learning to love fully and more selflessly. Love must be selfless - selfish love is no love at all.

As humans, we are prone to selfishness apart from God's grace and the Holy Spirit's help.

For these reasons, removing God from marriage is like removing your engine from your car: you can sit in it and pretend, but you'll never go anywhere until the engine is reinstalled.

My marriage is just fine without religion in it, no pretending required.

Being a Christian is not pretending, The Love one has for God is very real.
