I'm watching house hunters international and the husband cooks and gardens and they are looking for a house with garden space and a good kitchen for him.

Does your husband do things that some people would look at as "woman's work"?

Lets put it this way, if you come over to my house on a saturday you will likely find me in the driveway changing the oil in the car and drinking a beer, and my husband lying on the grass drinking herbal tea and reading a romance novel.

We wouldn't have it any other way.

But as for cooking, he is an amazing cook.

Lol. I love that! I think it's great! Reverse roles always make me smile!

My husband is domestically challenged. He set the dishwasher on fire while it was running and he set a frozen pizza on fire. I also have a tiny toddler size sweater that once fit me.

i never take out the garbage or mow the lawn.

DH likes to cook and can take care of household chores like any other adult. He doesn't like sports much but occasionally watches cricket. He is in a male dominated field though.

He helps often with dishes, and general home upkeep. I, however, do a lot that might be considered "mans work." I chop firewood, build fires, do home repair, work on cars... I enjoy it.

SO is a MUCH better cook than I. He doesn't do it often becuase he has to be in the mood to cook, but he does. He does all the ironing. He does the mending of things as well.

It is sad.... The man can not make a bed or fold towels to save his life. 11 years of marriage and I gave up trying years ago.
