Its a wallet.... you look around,  no one is paying attention. You pick it up and look inside. $25,000  is in it.

The owners ID is in it.

 What do you do? HONESTLY

If you kept the money: what would you do with the ID? How would you spend the money?

If you tried to return it: How would you?

NOW: If there was NO ID in it.... would that change things? How would you return it?

Loot the cash and return the wallet.

I would look through the wallet for a phone number to call them.  I would then google their address and try and return the wallet.   In the meantime, I would probably put it in my hotel safe.

Wow, that must be a big wallet. I'd return it, duh. Karma's a bitch.

Ask a police officer to go with me to their house to return it. (I'd be afraid the police would take it). But 25,000 wouldn't fit in a wallet. Lol

I would return it. I believe in karma and as much as I would love to keep it, I couldn't. It would feel so wrong.

In college I had just gotten home and I found $200 in 20s in the ground. I picked it up and knocked on every door until I found the "owner". They were so grateful. It's always important to do the right thing.
