In the nursery over night. Yes ill want to bond with my bsby but I will be formula feeding and having a csection, and I wont have dh in the hospital with me so I want to have a chance to sleep before going home to my other 2 kids. So is it wrong to want a little sleep and to adk the nurses to carr for her while im recovering?

Not terrible. Take advantage of all the help you can get in the nursery!

To each their own. You have that choice if that is what you want. I, personally, wanted my babies with me.

I couldn't imagine not having my newborn with me the whole time. I didn't even like my babies leaving the room for weight checks and made DH or my mother go along.

At the hospital here they refuse unless your sick or the baby is sick. They are not babysitters. That's what they told me when I asked if I could send my son down there for a few hours while I caught up in my rest.

With my first I refused to let them take her, with my second and third, you bet I had them take them for a while at night!! I needed rest before 0oing home to the others.

I would. My dh would not allow me to send my lo to the nursery. He had gone home for the night to sleep and when he got aback they had taken him to be circed and freaked cause he thought I had let then take him for the night. I haven't had more then 4 hours of sleep a night since we've come home.
