Just got back from breakfast....

My brother called yesterday and asked if I wanted to go to breakfast with HIM and we would split the bill 50/50. I agreed.
When I got to the dinner he had his wife with him and the three kids.
SIL was saying how thankful she was that I was helping out and they couldn't afford to go out but the kids have been asking.

I was conned >_

God what entitlement. You tell the kids NO it's not in the budget.

That was nice of you not to walk out.

Lol I probably would have been irritated about that. The thing is, if my brother called and said "hey, the kids have really been wanting to go have breakfast but we just couldn't afford it" I would have said I would take the kids out and pay for them, and brother could pay for himself and his wife. That's kind of rude for them to just con you like that.

I didn't want to disappoint my nephews.
