A piece of my frenulum under my tounge is broken. Do I need to go to the Dr to have it looked at? Or should it heal on its own? I'm really freaking out right now.

I went to the dentist yesterday. The under neither of my tounge was bothering but I didn't look it until last night. I have 3 blood spots and the frenulum missing

ouch.  I've always heard that the inside of the mouth heals itself, could be an old wives tale though.  I would start by calling the dentist today and getting their opinion.
