Do not celebrate birthdays? It seems sad to me. But I know that is prob. just because I do not understand why.

Idk. The Muslim I dated did. But then again he dated and drank and didn't pray 5 times a day.

There is a little girl in my son's class who was asked to read something she wrote about herself. When they did the questions one child sad her birthday was coming up what was she hoping to get as a present. She said we are muslim, we do not celebrate birthdays.

They celebrate children's birthdays. But in some circles, it's thought of as just for children. If they are westernizedn they celebrate everyoneks birthday.

I don't know, but I know jevoha witnesses don't celebrate bdays or any holidays. I think they think it is disrespectful to god?

I'm not Muslim so I may be wrong, but I believe some of the stricter of more devout Muslims only celebrate holidays pertaining to their religion.
