Too old to take a picture with Santa Claus?

Every year we have our kids picture taken with the Santa Claus at the mall. I wanted to go this weekend to have their yearly Santa picture taken but DH said that our 8 year old DS is too old to do this pictures any more. I was hoping for at least one more year since we have a new baby- and I would like to have all 3 of them together. So......how old is too old to take a picture with Santa Claus?

That is not too old. I would go ahead and do it. Your son will let you know when he is too old I think.

Never too old. I still get in the pic with my kids, it is tradition.

Your husband needs to lighten up.

I would say around 11 or 12 is when they transition into "Big Kids" and should stop with the pictures (that's right around the time I will break it to her that he's a fake). They can still get their pictures done! Men don't know anything in that area *roll eyes* lol ;)

Ummm there is no age limit...I've seen a group of teenage friends going. Adults w/o children, adults and their pets.

My girls refused at 10.
I as a parent would not put an age limit on it, I let them decide when they felt to old to do it.
