Bwahaha

I'm guilty.

But in years past this would have been thanksgiving week, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Just have to add a few more touches to it and go behind later and fix it a bit since the kids did it.

I don't, but we weren't planning on putting one up this year.

LOL .. my dd was born on halloween...

She gets excited when its time to decorate for halloween because she knows her bday is on its way... Halloween has never made her feel like her bday is being ignored.. Im pretty sure when she was 2 & 3 she thought trick r treating WAS for her bday though. hehe.

Quoting LokisMama:

To be fair, I'm lazy as hell and don't usually take it down til Feb. :-p

And what's worse?  A few days with a Christmas Tree, or a 4 year old feeling like her birthday is being ignored because she happened to be born near a holiday?

Quoting Anonymous:

That;s terrible!!!! Only a few days with a Xmas tree up? Poor kids

Quoting LokisMama:

Not yet.

Waiting til after Thanksgiving.

We normally wait until after my daughter's birthday (Dec 22nd) so she doesn't feel like they're overlapping, but she wants to put it up early this year.

My son's bday is in December and he don't feel that way. He loves putting up Christmas decorations and don't feel like he is being ignored.

I'm tempted! And now I feel validated since so many of you put yours up already!

She's asked to put the tree up this year, so I'm not too worried. :)

I think your tree is beautiful.  I like the way you've strung the ribbon.

Jesus, my tree has been up since November 10th. LOL
