what's your 'green veggie' for Thanksgiving?

Growing up we never had anything green on Thanksgiving because no one in the adult family liked them. Thankfully my generation is a bit healthier and I want to incorporate a 'green dish' (veggie) into the meal of what we traditionally have.  But it's tough figuring out something everyone likes and agrees on.

What's something green you serve on Thanksgiving?

Edit - Wow, so much green bean casserole!  I've always seen it on commericals and stuff but no one in my area that I know of ever serves it (connecticut).

Green bean casserole...completely and totally NOT healthy but my family loves it and I honestly only make this dish during the holidays.

How about steamed fresh string beans? Add a very small amount of salt pork for flavor while steaming.

My family loves side dishes. My sister does green bean casserole. Sometimes somebody does a broccoli almond salad but I don't know the recipe or even which relative to ask.

That sounds good (the steamed string beans) and not something I usually eat.  I think I've seen a recipe with sliced almonds and green beans

Green bean casserole, but we also have frozen sweet corn from the garden, sweet potatoes and this year we'll probably have butternut squash from our garden.
