Wow, I would be fined everyday for both of my kids because they never have a meat in their lunches.

It's dated last year... Are the parents made aware of these 'rules' at the start of each school year? I'd fight it.

What about those who are gluten free or who don't eat grain (Paleo diet)? That is BS.

Not sure if a ritz would even constitute "real food"... If they are going to supplement how about a slice of wheat toast or a roll vs a highly processed cracker...

If you are accepting any sort of subsidy, directly or indirectly, for child care, these are the conditions of that funding.

That's ridiculous. I never put meat in my kids lunch box. She's a picky eater for starters. I'm so glad that her school doesn't fine parents.
