I know they recommend you give whole milk until age two. I would like to start buying my normal milk 1%. And just share with ds.... we don't go through it fast enough to buy two seperate jugs. So I was thinking just getting 1% is ok....??

He is 2 already!

There are plenty of other sources of fat that you can give him. Look up the amount of fat he's supposed to be getting on his diet and how much is in whole milk. While milks has 8grams of fat per serving and 1% has 2.5grams per serving. Whole milk is roughly 4% milk fat. It's not a big difference.

if he is already 2 then 1% is perfectly fine.

Did you know that whole milk is only roughly 4% milk fat? There really isn't that much of a difference and there are other ways to get enough fat in his diet. It probably would be easier to just give him whole milk, but it's certainly not necessary. There are healthier ways to feed a kid than giving him cow's milk all of the time.
