When my parents first met my dh my dad pulled me aside and asked me if he was abusing me or if I was scared for my life. Id never known my parents to make judgements about people based on their looks but I seriously think that was their only reason for thinking that. My dh like to wear all black, eyeliner basically he dresses like what most people would describe as goth.
So my question is, did any of your parents make crazy assumptions about your dh when they first met them?

No. My parents have known dh as long as I have, since we were in the kindergarten. They have always loved dh.

My dad was AF and didn't care for the fact that dh was Army. Lol. That's about it though. They get along great now. =)

My dad did a full background check on my husband before we were married. I had no clue he did that.

No. My dad was thrilled with my choice of husband after some of the trial boyfriends I brought home. Lol.
