I saw a cop using food stamps

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
I was at the grocery store today, and I saw a police officer using food stamps. (He was not in uniform, but I know he is a cop).

How is it, that someone that risks his/her life everyday at their job paid so poorly that they qualify for food stamps? There is something seriously wrong with that.

You should mind your own business.

I'm not on fs but I use my elderly neighbors card when I go buy her groceries.

I have never heard or paid attention to how anyone pays for their food/groceries. I don't look at what they are buying either. I'm usually at least cart length away. Plus, who cares. I don't get people that notice every single thing another person does.

Okay?

I'm not bashing him, I just thought it was sad that he risks his life for other people and doesn't get adequately compensated

Some people receive child support on ebt cards.

Quoting Anonymous:

It's hard not to notice when you are standing behind them in line. I heard him say it was ebt

Quoting Anonymous:

Stop looking at how people are paying for their groceries, creeper.

Maybe his buyer could only pay in food stamps?

I agree with you that it is upsetting that people that provide such a service aren't paid better.

Just look up his salary online.  You can find the salary of almost any public employee.
