I would call BS because there are higher instances of autism and less and less parents that spank.

I don't know what the intention of the anonymous lady is who posted this... Of course if that would be (scientifically proven) the case, then I wouldn't spank anymore, BUT: Like KrissyKC already mentioned the opposite is the case... Less and less parents spank and more and more kids are diagnosed with autism.

So let me ask you another question instead: Suppose 'they' said Not Spanking Causes Bad Behaviour? ;-)

I'd be confused since my children have never been spanked and ds has low functioning/severe autism.

Look to your food chain, inside & outside air pollutants, household chemicals, toxic flame retardant treated furniture, rugs & chemical laden breast milk for the cause & rise of Autism.
