I need some help. Dh and I are thinking of moving south. He realy liked tennesse when he visited ther. I liked north carolina. We need ideas on a what state to move into and b what town. This is what we want

Small area but close to a city
A town with a strong feeling of community.
You can have things like chickens and cows
Very good schools
Low cost of living.
An area with lots of farmers for the farmers market.
A place where fresh organic veggies from the market is not goong to cost 3 $ for a head of romaine lettuce.

It does not have to be those two states. If someone knows have a great area that's not in those two states I would still like to know about it.
