I have a cold and im 23 weeks pregnant. I called her to ask what i could take and she told me Tylenol pm and a few other things. So i bought Tylenol pm but when i checked out that asked for ID since it has alcohol in it. Now im a little worried about taking it but i really need something and cant take it back tonight. Do you think she is crazy or is it ok to take?

and what harm could it do to my baby?

Did you pick up the liquid instead of tablets?  I think one dosage will not hurt you.

My OB has suggested Tylenol PM before.  I think it will not cause harm if taken as directed.
