A friend ws relaying this story to me last night so WWYD if...

You are 7.5 weeks pregnant and start bleeding one night. Call your OB and they send you to the ER. You are not far enough along for go to L&D so you have to use the Emergency Room.

It has been over an hour since you have been there and you haven't even been triage yet and the waiting area, from what you can tell, is not busy at all. A man in his 50's comes in, very boisterus, and shouts that he wants a doctor right then because he dropped something on his foot and his toe nail is bleeding. They bring him a wheel chair and take him right back.

You notice you have stared bleeding a lot more. It has been over an hour and half now and they say it'll be about 20 more minutes until you will even be triage.

Do you...contiune to wait

or go to the next town (30 minutes away)

At that point you just wait. At that early in the pregnancy there's not much they can do to prevent a possible miscarriage and the ER doesn't really consider it an "emergency". I've been in that situation. Sucks.

I'd go home. A 7.5 weeks pregnancy can't be saved, if you are in fact going to miscarriage. Might as well be comfortable at home.

But I wouldn't have been there to start with.

My husband would have demanded I be seen. If I wasn't seen after his ranting, we'd leave for sure.

This. Unless the bleeding was enough that it would threaten my life, I would go home until I could see the ob.

Quoting Autumn19: I would leave they cant do anything anyway.
