Just because you do not have a job doesnt mean you are automatically lazy!

My sister says that since DH and I are no longer working we are both lazy. I tell her that we work hard to get where we are in live. We worked hard to have enough so we didnt have to work at this point. Not everyone wants to work until the day they die. But just because we arent working doesnt mean we are lazy. We still go out and do a lot. I volunteer a ton now, we travel a lot, and we just do things that we never were able to do before. She says that people should work until they phyiscally can't anymore and I just dont agree. There is no reason to do that (if you dont want to) if you are smart with your money.

You find the fact that people retire hard to believe? Where do you live?

Yes, retiring at 22 is so normal. Every mom on Cafemom isn't retirement age.
