On a skillet. DH got me a griddle a few years ago and I use it quite a bit for many things, including pancakes. But I have become a part time weekend caretaker for my grandma and she doesn't have a griddle. She no longer can cook (she tries to get away with it, but has dementia and other health problems, so it isn't safe). So I make all the meals. The last couple weekends I made pancakes, it was a disaster! Today I went a different route and baked them. Good decision....they were delicious and she loved them. Coming from someone who spent a majority of her life in the kitchen taking care of others, that's quite a compliment. :) So, what can YOU not make well? Is there a dish that you avoid making?
