I don't know...I would probably call the ob/gyn and ask them?

When I was pregnant and bled rectally, I contacted my ob/gyn. He referred me to a gastroenterologist. If it is a simple case of itching, worms, slight bleeding, etc., start with your primary care dr.

A proctologist is a ass dr. Though your first step would probably be your GP.

First I would think you would go to a general physician and then if they think you need more care than they can give they would refer you to a proctologist.

Give us a little more info and you might get a better answer. Sorry you are having problems.

What exactly is the problem? If it's digestive, your primary can handle those things. If it's other issues, you might want to see a proctologist. Their knowledge will be more advanced than your gynecologists, if a gynecologist will see you at all. I'm pretty sure they would refer you to a proctologist anyway.
