My son won't have a christmas

My sons first christmas is this year and I am just not going to celebrate it! I am a little upset. He is only 7 months old and I know it isn't about the presents but I wish I had SOMETHING to give to him!  I am young single mother. I planned on using my child support money to get a tree and get my son some christmas presents, but of course, his dad is behind 500$. He can't even pay a lousy 200$ a month when he makes 16$ an hour? :( Sorry just had to vent!!

A tree is simple make one out of paper, or use lights in a tree design on the wall. As for gifts just wrap some of what he already has he is too little to remember what he already has as toys so he's not going to know the difference.

Make him some stuff. Get him things he needs - diapers, wipes, sippy cups... So he can have the fun of unwrapping them:)

I'm sorry you're upset, that does suck. I think you should try to salvage what you can and make do with what you have. Are there any baby banks in your area?
