Ss not having to ride in car seat...

Is that a problem? He will be 5 in a couple days. He's weights 35-40 lbs, we haven't weighed him since his physical in August and he hit a growth spurt.

Is it ever ok for him not to ride in one?

Thanks. He started telling us how he doesn't have to ride in his car seat anymore when he visits mom, and it seems a little questionable.

I didn't know if it was a national law or a state thing.

There are guidelines and then there are laws. What state are you in?

I wouldn't allow it. Many states have a law of 8 to be out of a booster.

So can we do anything about it? I don't want the police to think Dh is just trying to be a pain in the ass or something

it's not OK IMO, but check your state's laws.

We're pretty pissed. I guess it's been happening when he goes to his moms for the weekend.
