I went in to get some presents for my son. I was on the way home from picking him up from school. I told her to double bag it so my son who was in the car couldn't see. He then called me asking home much longer I would be I told him I was checking out then. He lady asked me if I left my son in the car I said yes and was about to explain that he was 16 and didn't want to come into the store when she stormed off. I just left my stuff at the register and walked away. All of the stuff I bought for him were adult sized... he called me from his phone and she just jumped to conclusions.

Sorry I hit send before I was done typing. I called back to make a complaint and the manager asked if I was the one who left my young child in the car because the employee called the cops but I had fled before they got there.

You know 16 is still too young to sit in a car by himself. I mean realy what would happen if he got too hot, it not like he could open the door or anything lol some people.

Why did you leave, if you hadn't done anything wrong?

OMG - wow.  I would have set the manager straight.  But, I can see where the cashier might assume the clothing was for your husband and not  your son.  Even though you asked it to be double bagged so your son couldn't see.

im sure if cps is called theyll figure out pretty quickly it's bs.

So does that mean you got all the stuff for free?
