Every morning at my son's school they say the pledge of allegiance, the school motto, the daily bible verse, and have student led prayer.

My child goes to public school

Private school, yes?  My children go to a Quaker Friends school so they have a meditation period.  But we live in the Northeast and there is so much ethnic diversity that I've never heard of any school reading from the Bible...unless it was a Christian school : )

It's a public school, but a very small one. And we live in the south. Meditation period sounds nice too :)

No, my kids go to public school.

Of course when they went to catholic school they did this...but I got them out of there.

Nope. I wouldn't send my kid if there was prayer.

Nope. I'm shocked they still say the Pledge since its now deemed offensive. They just have a moment of silence.

My child isn't in school, but she won't go to a school with a morning prayer.  If we are able to find a house in the district we like then she'll be in public school, if not she'll be homeschooled.
