When you were a teen was your bf allowed to sleep over in your room?

My bf was allowed to sleep over on weekends from 15 until we broke up at 18.  Now my 16 yr old wants her bf to be allowed to sleep over.  Sure is fun being a mom, Yuck.  Has anyone else been through this?

Yeah I was allowed to have my boyfriend sleep over at about 17. No clue why my mom allowed it, I would never LOL

Hell no! My parents would never allow that! They hardly allowed dating! Lol my girls will not until they're married ...share a room at night together in my house that is.

i didn't start dating till 18 and my first serious relationship didn't happen till I was 19 soooooo...I didn't have a problem of my bf sleeping over. Once in college in a dorm..things were different :) and as I said I was 19 already it didn't matter anymore. That being said....if any of my kids wanted to have their gf/bf .....they would be sleeping in separate rooms and not until they are 17 and over.

yes, but I was in a bit of a unique situation.

my son was allowed to have sleep overs but if they were opposite sex, it had to be a group sleep over and no shut doors or monkey business.

My bf moved in with us when I was 15.  My son is 28 and never asked if his gf could sleep over.  My 20 yr old dd had her bf over when she was 18.  I've allowed my 17 yr old's bf to stay overnite on weekends for the past year.  As long as they are safe and using protection and in a serious relationship.
