What is the point of a curfew?

Do your kids have a curfew? My kids never really had a curfew. They always came how at resonable times or let me know they weren't coming home. I guess I dont see why so many people get so angry about a missed curfew.

My kids came home at reasonable times or when they said they would be home. We never needed a set curfew.

My kids are to small for a curfew now but I didn't have one growing up. If they are mature and trustworthy then they won't have one either.

11:30 till she turned 18 then 12 until she graduated from high school. In the real world the law in the state we lived is anyone under 18 or 18 and still in high school the curfew is 10pm unless you gave written permission from parents.
