Dh's mom and dad are supposed to come over for dinner tonight. I worked nights and said told Dh that it's his responsibility to make sure that the house is clean and dinner is cooked.

They're supposed to be here in less than 3 hours, the house is still messy, and Dh is out running bs errands that don't need to be done.... I'm about to call and say that dinner's cancelled!

Three hours notice isn't enough. Clean up your house and order some food. Or get some of those premade meals in the freezer section with the pasta and chicken and veggies or something. But get off CM! You don't have time to be on here!.

Shovel everything into a closet and get to cooking. DH gets clean up duty later.

Call your husband and tell him to come home and help you clean so his parents can come over for dinner or you're calling them and canceling.

Is he that lazy that he can't help keep the house clean while you are working at night?

You can't make a decent meal and pick up the house in three hours?

Order take out and put it in your oven. Clean only the surfaces of the rooms they will be in.
